The AHA’s BLS course trains participants to promptly recognize several life-threatening emergencies, give high-quality chest compressions, deliver appropriate ventilations and provide early use of an AED. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC).
The BLS Instructor-led course teaches both single-rescuer and team basic life support skills for application in both prehospital and in-facility environments, with a focus on High-Quality CPR and team dynamics. This course is 4 hours long.

The AHA’s ACLS course builds on the foundation of lifesaving BLS skills, emphasizing the importance of continuous, high-quality CPR. Reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines Update for CPR and Emergency Cardiovascular Care (ECC). ACLS is geared towards healthcare professionals who either direct or participate in the management of cardiopulmonary arrest or other cardiovascular emergencies or personnel in emergency response.
This course is roughly 10 hours long. This option is for those who do not have a current ACLS certification. Recommended for Paramedic and RN levels.
This option is for those who already have an ACLS certification and simply need to renew.
This option is for people who have completed the online portion of the AHA ACLS course successfully and simply need a skills check off performed. To access and purchase the online class use the link below:
PALS is geared towards healthcare providers who respond to emergencies in infants and children and for personnel in emergency response, emergency medicine, intensive care and critical care units. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a course completion card, valid for two years. Please contact your employer to ensure that you are selecting the correct course.
This option is an in-person course and typically lasts about 12-16 hours.
This option is for those who have completed the online portion of PALS and simply need a skills verification. This lasts about 2-4 hours. You can obtain the online course below.

This is a 16 hour in-person course designed to improve the quality of trauma care and decrease mortality rates. PHTLS promotes critical thinking as the foundation of providing quality care. This program is developed by the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma.
16-hour course for EMTs, paramedics, nurses, physician assistants, physicians and other prehospital providers. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a certificate of completion, a wallet card recognizing them as PHTLS providers for 4 years, and 16 hours of CAPCE credit.
8-hour classroom course for individuals who have successfully completed the 16 hour PHTLS provider course within the past four years. Current PHTLS provider certificate or wallet card required. Upon successful completion of the course, students receive a certificate of completion and 8 hours of CAPCE credit.
